The Seventy Mile Access Centre, or SMAC, is a non-profit society whose primary purpose is to create a dynamic meeting place for area residents (permanent and part-time), tourists and guests. The SMAC Facilities include a Library, Gymnasium, Computer Lab, Games Room, Crafts Room, Kitchen, and Outdoor play are and Ice Rink (in Season). There is also a thrift shop and used furniture store.
